EVE – Environnements Virtuels pour Enfants – brought together the results of previous projects. Started in 1998, financed by Fonds Francophone des Inforoutes (http://eve.enib.fr) until 2003 and then by the Regions of Bretagne and Pays de la Loire, France, until 2005 (http://www.enib.fr/reve, http://www.enib.fr/~popovici/web_reve), as R-EVE – Renforcement EVE, the project involved nine partners from France, Romania and Morocco, primary schools, universities and companies, OVIDIUS University of Constanta included. Since 2000, it is used in partner schools as an additional instrument in teaching reading to first grade pupils.
